[Nobbc] Plans for next one?

Hey ya know? This tech session thing could just work out. No points, timing,
and valves, my car might just run like it is supposed to when were done,
what day are we doing this? TOMORROW???????

Also, I bought my 59 bug eyed sprite when I was 18 (what, 40 years ago) then
a whole string of british cars. I used to buy all of my parts and
accessaries at Swenson's (?) British Cars in San Rafael. I still have my
favorite Kangaroo skin driving gloves bought there. At any rate, tuning and
repairing older wire wheels is a lost art, and really should be done
properly, and there just aren't enough technicians around who really know
how to do them. As it happens, there is an auto shop two blocks from mine,
J&D Automotive, in Petaluma, owned by John Troup, who is not only a past
president of the Maserati Club of America, (and he has some cool cars there)
but when I was buying all my british parts at Swenson's, he was the service
writer there. I would bet that if there is anyone still around that knows
wire wheels John would know. His number is 763-2909. Long ago, he put a
clutch in my Camaro, (OK it ain't british) but good work and VERY
knowledgable. I WAS going to have him tune my TR, but it kinda sounds like I
have that one covered.

By the by, I have a pair of wire wheels, and some very old service manuals
from one of my past XK 140s, and some knock offs for a TR4, anybody
interested?
