[Oletrucks] Torque Tube Conversion

With winter approaching quickly I thought it might be a good time to take a
look at replacing the torque tube set up in my '50. Does anyone have or know
of a writeup on replacing the torque tube / rearend set up that details pieces
used that fit and makes this as easy a swap as possible?  I have a 235 with a
4-speed 'granny' trans in a '50 custom cab 3100.
Since I'm not totally mechanically inclined, I want to make this as detailed a
job as I can for my mechanic to hold costs down.
Any and all info would be appreciated.
