Trying to help a guy out with his 50 trucks specifically on the
transmission. Its a 3 speed on the column, are these Saginaw Transmissions
that came standard, and anyone know where to get internal parts. The drive
gear for the speedometer is in bad shape, not the little round gear that the
speedometer cables connects with but the larger drive gear inside the
tranny - about 3 inches long and listed in the old GM parts book as 3689223.
