[Oletrucks] oletrucks list still out there??

Antonio,
I've been on the list at least that long.  I have sinned by replacing the 
214 in my Chevy 50- 1 ton dully w/ hoist (stock rack and with wood bed) with 
a larger engine.
But, the guys on the list have given me forgiveness before so hopefully the 
reiteration of my sins won't make thing worse for me.

25 years ago when I bot this place on the Missouri River, it did great duty 
hauling fill and dumping fill, and getting the place habital.

Then I decided to restore it --body work was easy but painting took some 
effort.  I got help from the list.  It looks good and I have already given 
my
grandkids rides in it.

Anyway, I like this list and plan to keep it active.  The advice we get can 
not be beat--but maybe its because I'm getting older--like, I suspect, are 
most of the guys on the list.

I have been on the list for almost 10 years now and my truck is currently
sitting in my garage,  it is almost complete and registered as a classic,
but have not touched it for a couple of years. Life, work, kids and the real
important things of life have taken precedence.
Have one kid in college and another one leaving next year. Wife has made
comments about getting rid of the truck to help pay for college and regain
garage space. I did something similar a couple of years ago to help pay for
first kid going to college, I sold my beloved 1971 VW bug. I have been
considering doing the same with my 1953 3100 Chevy truck, but not only I
have a lot money and work into it, but a lot of memories. Not sure what to
do.

Thanks to this group and the encouragement that I have received from the
members during the last 10 years.
