[Oletrucks] 54 starter

Well, you can't use a remote starter switch when working under the hood,
and, if you don't have a good working hand brake or park gear, you have to
do some fancy foot work to get a left foot on the brake so the right foot
can press the starter, for two advantages to the solenoid switch. It's not
enough for me to swap it out, I like to go with originality,  but just
sayin....

i agree.  i have a 1955 1st series Panel truck, 6 volt with floor pedal
started. I dont see the disadvantage of the floor board pedal starter.
