[Oletrucks] Straight six engine

I’m seriously considering just that in my ’54 3100. I also have a ’67 C20 with a good 292 and 4 speed. I had planned to restore both trucks but the ’67 has more rust than I want to deal with. My ’54 was a daily driver until I took it apart last year.

I also have a 350 crate motor and TH350 so I have some decisions to make.

The 292 would make a strong and practical truck. No need to be concerned about speed unless you’re willing to redo the front end.

Current project is a ’74 Triumph Trident motorcycle and it will get done first.

Do any of you have a straight six 292 and TH 400 or something similar in your AD truck? I recently figured out that this swap into my 1955 1st Series would be easier and cheaper and also fit my idea of the truck I want. I would appreciate any knowledge you can pass my way. Thanks. Harry
