Better, but I'm still confused.  I've seen compression fittings with both
male & female threads on the fitting; but AFAIK there always has to be a
tube for the compression sleeve to fit around, or it's not a compression
fitting.  I don't see how a compression fitting would mate with a
carburetor.  Unless you have a tube sticking out from the carb ?
