You may be right ... but I sure haven't seen any huge reduction in my
electric bill.  And what I do see is probably at least 1/2 because the pool
has been drained; that 2hp pump draws a lot more than the frig does (even
though it doesn't run as much).

Let's see, finance $1500 (which wouldn't replace my old frig today with one
of equal quality) @ 18% interest, that's about $22.50/month.  Just about how
much my electric bill went down without the pool pump.  Making the payback
period longer than I'm likely to live ...
