My high-end Kitchen Aid sure was unreliable though.  The cycle selection
switch has failed roughly every 5 years since we bought it.  Wasn't so bad
when I could talk the local supply house into selling the part to me
wholesale, but they're closed now and retail is over $150 !  I won't be
buying KA again.
