[Shop-talk] Dimmable CFLs at Home Depot

I've heard or read that CFL do not like heat.

They last longer when pointed up instead of pointing down like from a ceiling
light fixture.



Most of the lights in our house are can lights, so they would be confined and
thus hot.

I have a few of them but not many.  I plan to readdress this at some point.
