Out of curiosity... Why?  Seems like as long as he keeps his body parts 
out of the path of moving things, the worst case is the board slips, the 
motor crashes down onto the belts and snaps them, flinging them into his 
face.

Nothing he's doing strikes me as a way to get seriously injured, provided 
he doesn't fall into the belts or something.
