[Shop-talk] Drill bits: carbon steel vs high-speed

The only possible advantage I can think of is if a CS drill or tap 
breaks in a hole you can sometimes shatter it with a punch and take the 
pieces out.  If it's HSS, it won't shatter and you may be out of luck.
