    This is a common misconception.  Somewhere around 70% of US 
electricity is generated by burning fossil fuels ( ~50% coal ).  Only 
about 10% is traditional 'green' ( hydro and solar ).

    Unless you are generating your own via solar, electricity is basically 
a fossil fuel.
