The portable (and probably cheap) Maytag unit that came with the house worked for a few months and now just makes the basement warm. Oddly, this wasn't a problem in the winter when the basement was colder. It's not 75 down there. The Internet says I can recharge it myself (!!) or throw it away. What does shop-talk say? thanks,
