If you are considering changing out your tools consider that Ridgid is 
now offering lifetime replacement for their LiOn batteries.  So this 
becomes a one time issue.

That said, I have milwaukee cordless tools and they are great (but I am 
envious of my friend who just got his dead Ridgid batteries replaced)
