[Shop-talk] led light swap out question

I’ve changed all my 4’ t-8 fluorescent bulbs with LED tubes (with ballasts).  Much better light output and I’m very pleased.  I still have a couple of 4’ t-12s  fixtures and I’m
wondering if I can just swap out the tubes... I think the  end connectors are the same for t-8 and t-12... will the t-12 ballast cause a problem ???
