[Shop-talk] Changing a lockset without the key

Depends on the lock set, but the inside part of the lock can USUALLY be
removed without the key.  Just remove the two screws that hold the lock
together and pull it out.  Then you can insert s screwdriver or other tool
to move the bolt manually.
