[Shop-talk] Ceramic tile question

I bought a small towel bar to hang a washcloth on in a tiled walk-in
shower and bought this to mount it:

That was stainless to tile and it held up great for years.

What I would do is get rid of the suction cup and mount whatever is
behind the suction cup directly to the tile with this tape.
