What kind of wood (a tree stump, indoor furniture, a floorboard) and how
fast do you want it done?

If it's a tree stump and you've got a few months, the mold or bacteria you
can buy at hardware stores will take care of a stump.

If you want it gone quick and it's something else, sulfuric acid will easy
just about anything. Including anything near the hunk of wood you want gone.

What are you trying to disappear?
