[Shop-talk] Plumbing fun

I’ve had good experience with SharkBite fittings, but one thing I don’t like about them is the fact that they allow the fitting to rotate after installation.  The first time I used them was to put shut off valves on a bathroom sink (the plumber was only responsible for the rough-in work).  They are leak-free 2 years on, but I don’t like the fact that the valves can rotate when you use them.  Since then, I’ve tried to design any other SharkBite uses such that everything is locked down when done.
