[Shop-talk] Broken sprinkler line

Success.  A couple of trips to a plumping place, a REAL plumbing place, 
not a big box store.  The old mutt that hangs out at England Plumbing 
here in Salt Lake probably knows more about fixing plumbing problems 
than any three Home Depot or Lowe's employees.  Broken bits cut out, 
repair pieces in place.  Zone 2 of our sprinkler system now works just fine.
