here in Alabama a total of 22 cases state wide.... 17 in Jefferson county (b’ham area... MY area) all the schools, daycares kindergartens shut down toll 4/7/20    ... everyone that can working from home   
Jeffco announced today that gatherings of more than 25 people prohibited and all bars/restaurants are limited to carry out or deliveries  and deliveries are frowned on.

they will re-evaluate restaurant situation in one week... several drive in test sites, one sponsored by my church (Church of the Highlands)  We have 22 locations in the state and in 20 of the correctional facilities... everything went online yesterday... no large group meets.  

Grocery stores are getting picked over in meat dept ( there was one pack of organic hot dogs in a space that used to hold a hundred... one pack of baloney and the lunch meat was just about gone...kids lunches cleaned that out probably.  paper products were thin, still got water and canned products, produce.... people are buying crazy stuff.  I went today to pick up prescriptions and few groceries. I bathed in sanitizer before going in and after leaving... sprayed everything with Lysol when I got it home and took another sanitizer bath after that and changed clothes as our local health dept recommends.   The store was a zoo with all the old folks (like me 72) and kids running wild.  They are actively wiping down carts before they give you one and constantly wiping down key pads, counters, computers, etc... three people in my store doing that.. so Publix market seems to be proactive on this.

We’re just hanging out at home and I’m working on my ‘53 truck, wife is baking Easter cookies, but we’re wondering if our usual Easter gathering at our house will occur... I have some less than scholarly inlaw/outlaws.  I’m considered ‘high risk’ with diabetes.

I’ve got a big time truck gathering in Pigeon Forge in middle of May... hoping it isn’t cancelled, but it don’t look promising.

Plenty of projects to keep me busy if the dang rain will let up.  We get 4 days of rain and 1 sunny day and repeat.  Bham usually gets 11 or inches of rain this time of year... we’ve had over 24 so far... my yard is squishy.
