[Shop-talk] Turn the engine off

I've just run into this problem twice now in the last month.  I have a ODB II scanner, a Actron CP9680 I bought back in 2021.  A couple of weeks ago I tried to read the codes on a late model KIA and to day on a 2018 Cadillac.  

When I plugged the scanner in to both cars, it displayed turn the engine off.
Well both of these cars had keyless ignitions.  So does anyone know how do you turn off the ignition on a keyless system?
