[Shop-talk] Dum-Dum

Working on my 50 year old Triumph Spitfire, and I'm looking for the sealer
that is used between the master cylinder bracket and the firewall.  We
always called it dum-dum.  It came in pencil-sized strips liked up on heavy
waxed paper.

But when I go to the FLAPS and ask for dum-dum, they look at me like I'm
doomed sort of dum-dum.

Is there another name for this stuff?
