[Shop-talk] Garden hose quick connects

I have a bunch of water hose quick-connect fittings, maybe two different 
brands, all are the metal versions. Similar to these:

They are useful, but not really "quick", and often stuck or unable to 
connect smoothly, etc.
Home Depot has Orbit and Ryobi brands, plus some plastic ones.
Any suggestions about a premium brand that works better? I've tried the 
plastic ones, they work too but I'm an expert at breaking them. Are 
there more robust plastic opinions? I recall that the plastic ones 
seemed to be easier to attach/remove.
I see a "Gorilla" brand that appears to include an o-ring - looks like a 
good idea, anyone used these?
Lowe's has options also, including the Kobalt brand that also has the 
o-ring.

I use my water hoses a LOT, having a convenient way to quickly connect 
my various devices is a big plus at my house.
Please let us know if you've found a best brand !
