Thanks, Jeff, just the kind of info I wanted.

The brass set from Dixon shows up for $7.92, but there's also an option 
for stainless steel - sure, that sounds like a good upgrade... but WHOA, 
$45 for one hose connector is outside of my window...

I did find a stainless set of 5 pair for $31.88 on Amazon, I may give 
those a try too.
