The G-35 sure sounds good, but it is a close relative (same 
basic motor, same basic body although RWD) of the Altima, 
and that car did nothing for me.  I plan on giving it a try, 
but the cost of entry is still high, and damn, I sure wish I 
could buy American, or Canadian at least!

Also, Dave, go easy on the 220hp/FWD slams.  My 89 (with 25 
more BOS HP) is easily the match of many newer more powerful 
cars, and still a bunch of fun, and my '96 with 235 is still 
in the hunt and a superb highway missle.  I think I know 
what you were saying though.  I agree basically, as an 
ethusiast, I want my next car to have 300 hp, a manual 
tranny of at least 5 forward gears and RWD.  Opps, back to 
that GM Aussie GTO again!  ;)
