Oh Yeah!!

That's the whole idea.  You leave it plugged in any time you aren't running the
engine, and the coolant always stays warm.  The circulating water keeps any one
component from getting too hot in any one place.  It's like you leave the engine
running all the time, and it is always warm.  
The thermostat won't open, but all the coolant will be warm enough (about 100
degrees F) to give you heat instantly from your heater.
