[Shotimes] what about a 540?

There's a whole TCO (total cost of ownership) issue, which includes purchase
price, maintenance, and resale.
As I've learned with the '95 MTX I currently have, the maintenance schedule
from Day 1 matters a lot. My '89 & '99 SHOs that I bought new were
reasonable to own and maintain. This '95, that had a questionable history
for the first 6 years and 70K+ miles of it's life, has been a money pit.
Luckily the previous owner bought an aftermarket warranty, he & I have had
$7-8K of warranty work done over the last two years, not counting the $2,000
out of his pocket, and the approximately $1K out of my pocket that has been
spent on the car (none of this includes routine stuff like oil, gas, tires,
etc).
