[Shotimes] Disconnect Factory JBL sub?

I feel her pain. Mine just blew too. No need to snip wires, as there's
a plug you can disconnect. Not exactly sure where it is as I haven't
disconnected mine yet.

If you wanted to be a really good boyfriend (and possibly be rewarded
appropriately?) you could disconnect and remove the old sub box, open it
up, remove the speaker, install a JL Audio 6W0 (which fits the box
opening perfectly according to others), silicone/reassemble the box, and
install.

Supposedly this provides better/crisper bass than the JBL.

Good luck,

Subject: [Shotimes] Disconnect Factory JBL sub?

Girlfriend's '94 ATX has what she is describing as a blown subwoofer in
the factory JBL system. What's the best way to disconnect it to make it
stop rattling? Which wires to snip? Also, anyone have one in good
condition available?

Thanks
