[Shotimes] (OT) Road Tunes

I find that I switch between nothing, CB, Scanner if so
equipped, radio or tape/CD as the mood suits me.

My best miles are spent on fun roads with some curves or
light traffic to keep me alert and interested. Let the car
(especially a SHO) entertain by working it a bit. Speed is
not necessary, but working to be the best driver I can be is
more fun than anything. Apex every curve properly, make
lane changes and turns smooth and precise, drive so that I
don't tick off other drivers, but make good time.

OH, Almost got nailed by a "chick" in a Dodge Dakota that
was on the phone and she looked right my way then pulled
out. I was in the AWA's truck (less than 2000 miles, I
would be toast if I wrecked it) so I balance stopping in
time with not having the jerk tailgating behind me run into
me. Laid on the horn when the hands got freed up, she never
looked up. Got next to her at the next stoplight. Rolled
down the window and honked, going to tell her to put the
phone away if she could not handle it and drive, (OH, and
she had two kids in car seats in the back seat....nice of
her to be so absorbed in her phone that she almost killed or
hurt them!) SHe never moved a muscle, just ignored me.
Probably just as well, she was a blonde...

OK enough sterotyping for now. At least she wasn't in a
little red 2 door car! (Even my wife and her friends have
noticed that that combination is deadly!) ;')
