First, hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas, and if you do not celebrate
Christmas, I hope you enjoyed your day off :-) (Man, I'm getting too PC in
my old age...) My Christmas was wonderful, my kids got everything they
wanted, and then some. With all the talk of music and tunes lately on here,
I thought it ironic that my main gifts were the gifts of music, namely a Rio
900 mp3 player, and a Sony CDX-L600X car stereo :-)

OK, now on to the meat of this mail... How the heck can I install this
thing with the premium sound on the SHO? Is there any way to utilize the
amp and 6 speakers of this system, or would it be easier to get an
aftermarket amp and speakers? This system only has 4 speaker out wires (52w
x 4) and two pre-amp RCA jacks. Oh yeah, the "stereo" thats in the SHO now,
well the cable that runs from the stereo to the amp has had the end cut off.
Would I need to find this cable and get an install kit for an easy install?
Or could I just as easily "rewire" this deal? How difficult is it to get to
the dash speakers?

I love music, but just not into "high end" systems (ok, so most of what I
have had in car stereos has either been stock, or creepy cheapie stuff),
except in the late-80's I did install a cool high end system in my T-bird
turbo. Since then, it has either been stock or creepy cheapie. One guess
as to whats in the SHO? My wife felt sorry for me, since she has a really
nice system in her BMW. Oh yeah, did I mention I am cheap? :-)

Thanks guys/gals!!!

ps: When I do this install, I will make a photo journal, and put a write up
on v6sho.com!
