[Shotimes] White slicers

I recall (vaguely) that Steve Reynolds did this some time ago and measured 
airflow somehow. I think he determined that some air was being moved but not 
so much as to make a big difference in brake temperatures. I could be amiss 
on his findings so maybe some other oldtimer (Don M, Ron P?) may rember more 
about this.
