Yep, and the Porsche GT cars are in the ALMS. Kevin Buckler took the Porsche
Cup this year, running for the Racers Group:

FWIW, I prefer doorslammer race cars, open wheel stuff has never been of
interest to me.

I guess years ago the open wheel cars were way ahead of production-based
cars for performance, but that gap has closed. NASCAR stockers run better
than Indy cars did not that many years ago!!

speedchannel and it is excellent.  Shoot, taking shortcuts through the grass
can be a good thing in that racing!
