[Shotimes] Installation of 80MAF

$7 plumbing elbow, one knife and 10 minutes and my Ford 80mm MAF fit
fine. Too bad I hated it.

$280 later, I am running my Pro-M 80 and I am much happier. I don't like
the Pro-M tubing or the angle which it sits.

Subject: [Shotimes] Installation of 80MAF

Via Vis the old SHOshop Snorkel/80MAF intake hose
shipped to original owner Gene Raborn for Bart back in
1996 was probably THOUGHT to be too long.....and the
installer incorrectly shortened the hose, thus making
the fitament absolutely incorrect for these past six
years..
Joseph, just wiggle it on with a tad of vaseline::and
please don't trim it...and if you do, don't do what
the SHOspecialist(haha) did to Bart's and cut it with
a serrated knife or whatever, the K&N will Never fit
properly and the Snorkel will gap and let in debris,
the seal will not fit, etc., etc.,
You can't tell I am a little upset about this..
Don't trim it until you have exhausted trying to MAKE
it fit.
Marlene
