Yep.

I removed the driver's seat (had to anyway), dropped the liner by removing
all the trim, the sunroof console, visors, plugs, etc, then pulled it out
via the left rear door.

If you have the sunroof, it is very easy for the panel to fold.  If it
folds, the panel will break and it will be junk.

If you're planning on recovering it, make sure sure you clean all the old
junk off the panel before applying the adhesive.  If you don't, the new
material will separate and sag within a few weeks.
