Unfortunately, this case is your word vs. the cop's word. I don't know what
kind of evidence you can present to prove that you did signal. You may want
to contact (or join) NMA http://www.motorists.com/ and see if they can
offer any help. Perhaps this officer has a history of making these false
charges.
Maybe an attorney in your area could advise you if testimony from somebody
such as your AWA to the fact that you ALWAYS signal would carry any weight
with the court.
As with any ticket, BS or not, you have to decide if one day in court for
arraignment and another day for trial is worth it compared to the fine.
