[Shotimes] MTX Tranny Troubles

Thanks to those who took the time to respond to my tranny troubles.

I know that it is not the clutch.  I have had one wear out and another fail.
The gearset had stopped spinning and reverse was absolutely no problem.  1st
and 2nd were.  Sometimes the lever wouldn't even go into the 1-2 gate.

What I worry about is syncros and/or blocker rings.  But if they fail how
could this be intermittent?

Remember a post a while back were somebody described how to take apart and
clean the shift linkage, but with lack of time and a slow connection, I
never found it.

plate. With as many miles as you've racked up I'm sure you've replaced your
