Well ther other night I went to start the wonderful SHO to leave my sister's
house and...... yeah that's about it nothing. It turned over fine, heard
the fuel pump, fuel was there, battery fine, and new starter a few months
ago.. I recently changed the timing belt, but it's been running fine and
starting ok. Went to start it and it just turned over and over and over.
Just wouldn't start. What is the most likely cause for it not to start when
it's got fuel, and voltage, and spark? When I changed the starter I didn't
notice any abnormal wear on the teeth, but I'm starting to wonder about the
condition of the flywheel... Could worn flywheel teeth cause this? I pulled
the codes before I eventually got it started and came up with a 114 code for
the ACT sensor.. I had this code come up before but it went on vacation for
a while, and I don't think it's related to this problem at all. Also the
battery light has been coming on more frequently while driving, and last
time it stayed on I checked the voltage at battery and it was 14V+ so I
don't know why it came on or keeps coming on...well can't these problems
come one at a time? Guess they travel in packs.. Fuel filter, CID sensor,
CPS sensor, battery, starter, IAB valve, and new wires, all new withing last
20K, some newer than others...any ideas? Thanks
