How does the garage figure it's not their responsibility?

You entrusted the car to their care. It was in their posession and should be
their responsibility.

The Garage, or their insurance company, should pay to put your car back the
way it was when you dropped it off.

What if they were test driving the new clutch and wrapped it around a tree?
Would they say they weren't responsible for that??

You dropped off a car with intact glass, dash, stereo, and passenger seat. I
see nothing unreasonalbe about expecting to pick it back up in the same
condition.

Subject: [Shotimes] Need help...please

Hi guys...I wish I was writing under better circumstances...but I am not.

It seems that last night while my car was at the garage to get a clutch put
in...my SHO was broken into. The Sorry...sigh...I will not cuss...I will not
cuss...

The Thief broke my passenger window, tore up my passenger seat (Glass, their
big ass, and leather don't mix well), and trashed my dash. The front part of
the dask has been torn off and busted up...and the actual dash pad or
whatever it is called has a huge split in it now...all to steal my stereo...

And here is the worst part of it...My (edited) Insurance company will not
cover any of it. They claim that the garage is responsible for it. But the
garage claims their are not...so the long and the short of it is...I'm
Fu#&ed...

With this in mind...I am looking for a passengers glass, and I dunno what it
is called...the front part of the dash...for a Grey Interior 89 SHO...

My poor baby...and to think...I had a pristine interior for an 89...

Latest mod...thanks to a thief...No passneger glass, trashed dash, and a cut
up passengers seat...
