[Shotimes] wheel bearing

Not all hubs are the same. There was a changeover around 91-92. Using
the wrong combo of hub and rotor will result in breaking wheel studs.

I'm not quite sure of your terminology.
The knuckle is what bolts to the bottom of the strut, the LCA/ball
joint, and the tie-rod end. The hub is the part in the middle of it
that spins, which the wheel bolts to. The caliper fastens to the
knuckle and clamps on the rotor, which goes on the hub. The bearing is
pressed into the knuckle, and the hub is pressed into the center of the
bearing.
The Lower Control Arm has the ball joint intregally cast into it. You
replace the arm when you replace the ball joint.
Hubs SHOULD be the same for all Tauri, but you'd better check with
someone like Al Fitz. Knuckles either have or don't have antilock brake
sensor mounts. An '89 could use a standard Taurus knuckle, but a '90 or
newer needs a SHO knuckle, or one from a newer Taurus with antilock
brakes. Lower Control Arms are different, SHO vs. Taurus. Bearings are
the same for all Tauri, as far as I can determine.
