Thanks for the replies so far Dave, Terry and Mark.

I am undecided what's causing the noise. It's either the PP or the TOB. I went home for lunch (I love living only 5 minutes away), and took the short 2 exit stretch of highway. The noise is most audible with the car in gear and decelerating, and immediately when I press the clutch pedal in afterward. It's otherwise barely audible.

I am so pissed I feel like driving it until it breaks, but most likely will get my butt in gear on my truck (it has the worst oil leak I've ever seen) and drive that until I can afford to repair the SHO. I'd rather not have to get a replacement transaxle, but could bend some plastic if I had to.

I don't know if I'll try a ceramic bearing if the Grizzly did fall apart, but I will most likely not get an OEM PP or disc. Is Centerforce's PP a modified Valeo? What else is there besides stock? I will probably take my time this time and look at the internals of the MTX (at least blocking rings and synchros).
