I had no issues getting the pan off or on. I heard of issues getting the pan
back on, but I did a "dry run" without the gaskets, so when it came time to
get the pan on for real, it went on in maybe 1-2 minutes, with two bolts
holding it up.

I've been lucky with my Y-pipe.  However I have had (^%#%&(& getting my
starter off.  The pan itself is worth quite a bit of #^(^% until you finally
break down and get a 1/4" universal joint to get one of those nuts off with.
