Check the IAB, or idle air bypass valve.  It's the cylinder looking thing on the
back of the throttle body.  There is a connector at one end of it.  It can get dirty
and not control the air to the engine properly.  It can be disassembled and cleaned,
or replaced for about 45 dollars.  It is hard to get to the bottom allen bolt, but
an L shaped allen wrench can be used without removing the intake.

Check out the SHOTimes FAQ...there ought to be good instructions on servicing this
part there.
