I would say that pulley will hold up just fine.  The power steering is the
easiest accessory to turn on an engine, so there's never really much force
on that pulley.  Just don't overtighten the belts.

Case in point, on 2.2 turbos, everyone that drag races installs manual racks
in their cars to "gain" horsepower.  A friend of mine had a car with a
manual rack, but wanted the much shorter performance p/s rack, so he
installed it along with some underdrive pulleys, thinking the p/s loss would
be balanced out by the pulleys.  What happened?  He actually had a slight
decrease in 1/4 mile times, and showed a bit more power overall.  I think
I'll keep my p/s, thank you! : )
