Sounds like you need some track time.
I, too, like to banter about nothing, but I've got other places that I've
been getting it for much longer than SHOtimes has been around. They aren't
topic-specific, though, and I expect a ton of junk. They are much easier to
pick through, though, being in forum format. Most people that still use
mailing lists due so largely to concentrate topics for quick consumption. If
you are going to do it any other way, why not use the easier-to-navigate but
slower-to-load forums formats? It totally defeats the purpose of mailing
lists when you've got 30 messages about broken-down Jeeps, political unrest
in Bosnia, and aunt May's bad apple pie on a 60 message per day SHO forum.
