Well, if David hadn't just left the list I'm sure he'd tell you what he
did with his!  I'm pretty sure I remember him doing something similar,
maybe with a 2x4 piece of wood?

What I am thinking I would like to do is cut a 1" dowel to a length that
I can jam up against the underside of the dashboard.  As it is, my 92
sounds like it is about to disintegrate all over the freeway at speeds
of ~75mph. I know, I know...wheel/tire balance issue, but until I get
that taken care of, I want to be able to hear myself think on the
freeway.  Has anyone done this, and what did you use?  What is a good
length?  TIA
