[Shotimes] Gen4 center console in a Gen1?

Does anyone know what changes, if any, occurred in the floorpan between Gen2 and Gen3?

In Mary Walton's book about Gen3, there is a hint that perhaps the floorpan stayed mostly the same, except maybe for being
lengthened.

Reason I ask is, I am wondering if a Gen4 console will fit --- which means mount points, dash clearance, and shifter-hole
location --- into a Gen1.
