    Board stays in/on the PCM.  You can pull the whole unit and program on
your PC inside, or just run a port cable outside the box and keep a laptop
in the car.  I plan to set mine up this way as soon as I find a cheap laptop
to keep in the car.

FWIW I think this is the route to go.  Seems many folk are jumping on these,
I think with time once we get a good userbase and start swapping notes and
files, we can really make some good progress.  There was a bunch of flame
wars awhile back on the SHOforum about this whole gig, but bottom line is
it's pretty nifty.  The limiting factor is your experience/skill, both of
which should get better with time, especially with a user group swapping
notes.
