The Gen 1 SHOs have longer rear strut housings, Gen 2 has shorter rear strut
housings. When you buy the inserts, you just have to make sure that you get
the correct insert for the strut housing you have.
At that point, though, either of the strut housings will fit any of the
years. For example, I have Koni inserts in '91 housings on my '95.

I recall discussion about installing Konis in newer Gen 2s; was there
something about using the rear struts from an older SHO to fit the Konis? A
search of SHO Times FAQs reveals nothing about this, maybe I am dreaming.
Any
help here guys?
Mike
